Our Story

I'm Leigha Ramelb, my upbringing immersed in Italian culture has lead me to this point of my Chef and Farming aspirations. I hope you come along with me on this adventure of discovery in Europe. During our time here I have been visiting an Italian village where my mother's family came from called Castagnole Monferrato.

From a professional cook standpoint and just a lover of food, I've learned the Piedmont region in Northern Italy is home to some of the best ingredients I've ever tasted. My goal is to showcase very specific Piemontese cuisine wherever I am. My time here has evolved into going back to the beginning, of my ancestry as well as how I do food as a Chef and Farmer.

For me, going back to basics isn't about simplifying food, it's about making it accessible so that people can rediscover quality ingredients in their own kitchens.

There is a reason Italian cuisine is one of the most beloved in the world, it isn't fussy. They don't compromise their ingredients for cost or convenience. Italians have passed down their ways of preparing food from Noni to Noni for generations. Some of the kitchen equipment may have improved with technology but the people keep to their traditions.

This is what I hope to do for my life's work, cultivate food on land and in the kitchen to preserve the Piemonte traditions as well as provide for the community.
